2022-2023 VPK Applications:
ELCHC Contract Specialists have started initiating VPK Provider Applications:
If your VPK APP has been initiated, please submit it as soon as possible to ensure your desired start date for VPK. Once your VPK APP is approved, the Contract Specialist will initiate your VPK Provider Contract. All Providers must have a CERTIFIED VPK APP and Contract prior to offering VPK or enrolling students/COEs.

VPK Funding Increases:
The State of Florida Legislature approved funding increases for the VPK Program, starting with the 2022-23 School Year.
GENERAL PAYMENT INCREASE
(FOR ALL PROVIDERS)
The School Year Base Student Allocation (BSA) will increase by $317 per student (from $2486 to $2803)
The Summer BSA will increase by $271 per student (from $2122 to $2393)
TARGETED PAYMENT INCREASE
(FOR QUALIFYING PROVIDERS)
An additional increase (of an unknown amount) will be available for VPK Providers that:
- are already paying their VPK staff $15/hour; OR
- for those who agree to increase their VPK staff wages to $15/hour within 30 days of receiving the funding
The amount is unknown at this time, but there are some estimates projecting it to be about $650 per student. We are not certain when this will be implemented by the State.
