Cameron Cassedy serves as Vice President of Cassedy Financial Group. He leads the firm’s Investment and Wealth Management strategies, overseeing portfolios for both individual and institutional clients.
Prior to joining Cassedy Financial Group, Cameron worked at Vanguard, where he played a key role in managing over $500 billion in assets across the firm’s Fixed Income Index Funds and ETF’s. Prior to that, Cameron worked in the Finance Department for the New York Yankees.
Cameron earned his degree in Economics with a minor in Finance from Florida State University in 2010. He is a CFA® Charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of Tampa Bay.
A Tampa native and deeply committed to the local community, Cameron is active in leadership positions with several of Tampa’s civic, charitable and social organizations. Cameron serves as a trustee of the Tampa Bay History Center Foundation, and serves as a Board member for The Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County, The Economic Club of Tampa, and The Davis Islands Civic Association. He was appointed by Mayor Jane Castor to the City of Tampa’s Community Benefits Advisory Committee and serves as Vice-Chair. Cameron is also a graduate of Leadership Tampa, and a member of Leadership Tampa Alumni.
Cameron and his wife Madeline live in Tampa with their three young children.
