Lead Teacher

Kiddie Academy of Lutz is preparing for our exciting grand opening this October, and we are seeking passionate, experienced Lead Teachers to join our founding team. We are hiring for all age groups, including Infant, Toddler, Twos, Preschool, and VPK classrooms.

This is an opportunity to help shape a brand-new academy culture focused on educational excellence, strong family relationships, and a positive team environment.

Position Summary

Lead Teachers are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom while implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with Florida licensing standards and Kiddie Academy curriculum expectations.

We are looking for dependable educators who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to helping children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of childcare or preschool teaching experience required
Completion of Florida DCF 45 Hour Training required
CDA credential required
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Passion for early childhood education and child development
Must meet all state licensing requirements for employment in a childcare facility
Responsibilities

Lead daily classroom activities and instruction
Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
Follow classroom schedules and academy policies
Maintain compliance with Florida childcare licensing standards
Support children’s developmental and educational growth
Participate in academy events, trainings, and professional development
