Family Involvement
FSU 10 Components of Quality Care InfantToddler Family Engagement & Cultural Continuity

In the context of meaningful relationships with families who are essential partners in their child’s care, Component 9 addresses: Approach to Working with Families, Ongoing Communication, Family Input & Engagement and Cultural Continuity.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
The learner will be able to:
– Examine Strategies to Encourage Family Engagement
-Practice Culturally Responsive Caregiving Techniques
-Create a plan for Resolving Cultural Differences
-Describe and Identify indicators of Culturally Responsive Programs
SPECIAL NOTES
– In-service hours (3) will be awarded for completing this one-time session.
– In-service hours are not awarded to individuals who arrive 15 minutes after the start time.
– A completed survey is also required for the certificate of attendance.
