Today, the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County (ELCHC) announced that after 13 months at the helm its CEO, Dr. Steve Knobl, has tendered his resignation to commence the next chapter of his career.
During his time with the ELCHC, Dr. Knobl has lead the rebranding and transition to a new, stronger and vibrant ELCHC. His dedication has resulted in movement toward the ELCHC being an evidenced based, outcomes focused organization that delivers tangible positive benefits to the children, families and providers in Hillsborough County. Dr. Knobl’s work while at ELCHC has solidified the organizations long-term sustainability and enabled the continuing investment into service improvements and quality.
Dr. Knobl has established and led an exceptionally dedicated team of professionals, each of whom plays an integral role in the everyday running of this successful organization. He will leave the ELCHC knowing that it is in a very strong position for future growth and we sincerely thank him for his contributions and leadership during his tenure as CEO.
“The entire ELCHC staff and Board want to thank Dr. Knobl for his impressive efforts as CEO,” said Aakash Patel, chairman of the ELCHC Board of Directors. “I have addressed the staff and the Coalition’s Executive Committee and assured them that this will be a seamless transition.” Patel added, “The Board is deeply committed to the success of the agency and our priorities for the future and will work to ensure the unwavering continuity of services and operations as it immediately begins the official search for Dr. Knobl’s replacement.”
