I am a never-ending advocate for children and families. My passion began in the field 29 years ago when I worked as an Assistant Teacher. That experience ignited a fire in me to change the perception and attitude of people concerning Early Childhood. I have worked tirelessly to change the mindset of people concerning Early Childhood, it is not “Babysitting”! I am a National Early Childhood Trainer. I serve on numerous boards that enhance the quality of Early Childhood Education. In the Early Childhood space, I serve as an Executive Board Member for ELCHC, Vice-Chair of Hillsborough County BOCC Child Care Licensing Advisory Board, and Vice President of Black Child Development Institute. I am a traveling National Head Start and Child Care Consultant. I travel nationally providing preparing centers for Head Start Federal Reviews. I have served as a Keynote Speaker for National Child Care Conferences and Head Start Conferences. I am a National Verifier for Accreditation of Head Start and Child Care Facilities. My specialties range from Motivational Speaking, Soft Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Awareness, Diversity, Family Engagement, and Curriculum Development.
My part-time passions are providing consulting for children with behavioral problems, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and moving past childhood trauma.
