Ms Jacob has spent the last 40 years in Tampa, Florida and has immersed herself in all aspects of community building.  Dianne is SVP and Director of Client and Community Relations with PNC Bank and has worked at a vice president level in commercial interior design, commercial real estate, the construction industry and Tampa Bay & Co., now Visit Tampa Bay, the area’s convention and visitor’s bureau. Through Tampa Bay & Company, her team was awarded such events as 2 Super Bowls and the Republican National Convention in 2012.

She was a member of the 1992 Leadership Tampa Class, chaired the classes in 1997, 1998, and served as the Chair of Leadership Tampa Alumni in 2002, 2011. While on the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors under Deanne Roberts, she developed a young professional’s organization following the philosophy of Richard Florida’s RISE OF THE CREATIVE CLASS, which led to the creation of EMERGE TAMPA BAY.

Dianne was a member of Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class XXVIII, Leadership Education Class III, served on the LF Board of Directors, and worked to develop CONNECT Florida and its young professional leadership development program, the CONNECT FLORIDA INSTITUTE. She applies considerable time toward servant leadership, having served on more than 40 Boards of Directors. Through PNC Foundation’s, Grow Up Great, Ms Jacob has focused her community work in Early Childhood Education serving on the Boards of The Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County, Champions for Children, The Children’s Movement and developed an early learning initiative, Little Kids, Big Minds, with 12 cultural institutions and Hillsborough Community College’s Early Learning department.  Most recently, Dianne chaired the First 1000 Days pilot program for the Forever 55 Legacy project for Super Bowl 55 aimed to give a strong start in life for at-risk children from birth through age 3 and their families.  She is the current Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Tampa Museum of Art.

Dianne has been the recipient of numerous awards for her service, the most noteworthy being the prestigious Parke Wright III Leadership Award given to a distinguished alum of Leadership Tampa and the Leadership Florida Chairman’s Award for valuable contribution to the creation of the CONNECT Florida Statewide Leadership Institute.  Most recently, Ms Jacob was recognized by the Tampa Chamber of Commerce as the 2020 recipient of the Dottie Berger McKinnon Woman of Influence Award for her leadership in the community.
