ACCESS Florida

ACCESS Florida is the newly retooled and modernized public assistance service delivery system that is the Automated Community Connection to Economic Self-Sufficiency. This model is based on streamlined workflows, policy simplification, technology innovations and partnership with local community organizations. Citizens can quickly locate and access services such as TANF, child care assistance, child support services, apply for Healthy Kids and KidCare, and even locate employment.

Florida Dept. of Education - Office of Early Learning
The Department of Education/Office of Early Learning (DOE/OEL) works in collaboration with the Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI) and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to implement the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education program.
Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resource System (FDLRS)

The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) provides diagnostic and instructional support services to district exceptional student education programs and families of students with exceptionalities statewide. FDLRS supports the State education goals of high student achievement, safe schools, and high performing workforce. Florida KidCare

Florida KidCare is the state’s children’s health insurance program for uninsured children under age 19.  It includes four different parts, or programs: MediKids, Healthy Kids, Children's Medical Services and Medicaid. When you apply for the insurance, Florida KidCare will check which program your child may be eligible for based on age and family income.

Florida’s Transition Project for Infants, Young Children, & Their Families

Florida's Transition Project for Infants, Young Children and Their Families assists local communities in establishing trained teams to develop a seamless system of transition among agencies providing services to young children with disabilities, birth to six years of age, and their families.

Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS)

The HCPS website is designed to be informative and easily navigated. Visitor may browse the site to learn more about the district Strategic Plan, meet our School Board members, visit school websites, find employment opportunities, and check our school district calendar for important dates.

Hillsborough Kids, Inc. (HKI)

Hillsborough Kids, Inc. is a non-profit agency created out of a three-year community planning process specifically to perform the duties of Lead Agency in the Community Based Care project in Hillsborough County. HKI offers services for the abused and neglected children and their families is performed by a network of local community based agencies (Northside Mental Health, Children's Home Inc., Children's Home Society, Camelot Community Care, Mental Health Corp.) that are also governed by community Boards of Directors.

The Agency for Workforce Innovation – Office of Early Learning (AWI-OEL)

The Agency for Workforce Innovation is responsible for implementing policy in the areas of workforce development, welfare transition, unemployment compensation, labor market information, early learning and school readiness. The Office of Early Learning is in the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation. The Early Learning program increases children's chances of achieving the educational levels that help them become productive members of society.

The Childrenīs Board Of Hillsborough County

The Children's Board Of Hillsborough County (CBHC) funds local prevention and early intervention supports and services, as well as provides leadership , planning/analysis, advocacy, technical assistance, training, information and education, and research and evaluation.

The Hillsborough County Child Care Licensing Program

The Child Care Licensing office licenses and regulates the operation of child care facilities and family day care homes in Hillsborough County. It conducts periodic inspections, investigates complaints filed against these facilities, and takes enforcement action as deemed necessary. Information packets for starting child care facilities and family day care homes are provided to local residents. Technical assistance is available to providers on issues relating to child care. Facilities and family day care home files are available for review by parents who are seeking child care.
